Fumes from polyurethane adhesives, solvents, and coatings are not merely an odour nuisance – they represent a real threat to employee health, production continuity, and compliance with stringent environmental regulations. In modern spray shops and furniture manufacturing facilities, where concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) often exceed Occupational Exposure Limits (OELs), standard general ventilation is no longer sufficient. Lotnych Związków Organicznych (LZO/VOC) często przekraczają wartości Najwyższych Dopuszczalnych Stężeń (NDS), standardowa wentylacja ogólna to za mało.
NAWARA NAWARA designs and builds dedicated extraction systems that combine the highest level of safety with tangible operational savings. As a Polish manufacturer with more than 20 years of experience, we do not offer universal catalogue products. We create tailor-made systems precisely matched to the emission profile of your facility.
Effective filtration of chemical vapours requires a multi-stage approach that removes contaminants directly at the source.
Our systems are based on components with the highest technical performance:
A modern NAWARA extraction system is an investment that generates measurable savings:
We help facilities comply with Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) requirements and emission standards. Our systems:
We will select a solution tailored to the system's specifications, operating conditions, and technical requirements.

How often should activated carbon be replaced?
Under standard operating conditions, the activated carbon bed typically remains effective for 6 to 18 months. Our systems are equipped with differential pressure sensors that provide advance notification when replacement is required.
Can an adhesive fume extraction system be connected to the general ventilation system?
No. According to safety standards, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) serving workstations must remain separated from the general hall ventilation system to prevent the spread of hazardous substances throughout the facility.
Can filtration systems effectively handle water-based adhesives?
Yes. However, they require the use of modified activated carbon or chemical filtration media, as standard activated carbon has limited effectiveness in removing ammonia typically present in water-based adhesives.
